I am a composer, sound artist,  producer and researcher based in London. I’ve been professionally writing to brief since 2002, when following completing an MA in composing music for film and TV received the BBC Radio Drama composer-in-residence bursary. I have composed music across genres for numerous dramas and documentaries, for film and performance. I have developed through-composed narrative work, described as ‘composed features’ commissioned by the BBC radio and international broadcasters, which marry soundscape, field recording and electroacoustic composition with narrative, voice and scored instrumentation. Working at the confluence of arts, media and academia, I completed a practice research PhD, (critically investigating my professional composer methodology and practice), at Bournemouth University in 2017, where I am a now a visiting fellow.
