Christina Malley
I am an experienced Lecturer and Coach with a demonstrated history of working in music performance and artist development. My research fields are artist development, live and digital performance spaces, classism within the music and creative industries and the academic partnership needed between the creative industries and academia to ensure we are teaching the right things.
Alongside my lecturing, I run a successful creative coaching business for music artists and other creatives to help develop and level up their creativity. Utilising the understanding that creativity improves happiness, productivity and community, I work with creatives to explore the obstructions to creativity, strategies to improve their creativity and the eventual output to improve the creative’s life and well-being. I have created a range of online short courses in popular music studies including vocal warm-ups, social media marketing for musicians and popular music contextual studies. I have also developed and managed social media for several businesses.
